    SENIOR PLANNING MANAGER NY, NY FASHION INDUSTRY

    We are seeking a superior Senior Planning Manager who will manage product line business for the Retail Channel including open-to-buys and forecasting.
    The position is responsible for the following:
    Manage the annual planning process for product line performance, sales, inventory, receipt and margin goals
    Continuously analyze and reforecast business and recommend/implement strategies to ensure plan is achieved
    Develop and maintain monthly sku plans which support corresponding product line plans
    Work closely with Merchandising to develop quarterly assortment plans and monthly product flow
    Manage product line inventories across all Retail stores through detailed analysis and proactive strategic plans
    Work closely with distribution analysts to ensure that distributions meet turn goals, support marketing calendar and maximize profitability
    Direct all product line specific communications to field organization, stores, and distribution center to implement strategies
    Maintain ongoing communications with Merchandising, Visual, Sourcing and Production to continually secure or produce adequate inventories
    Education and Experience:
    BA or BS degree with 5-7 years of prior experience in merchandise planning, allocation/distribution and analysis
    Advanced computer skills in Excel and knowledge of E3, CAPS, and Arthur Planning a plus
    Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills required
